Free COVID-19 Testing Now Open to All West Sacramento
 
Washington Unified School District (WUSD) is partnering with Healthy Yolo Together, a project of UC Davis, to offer FREE, saliva-based PCR testing now open to all West Sacramento every Friday, beginning August 13^th, 2021.
 
For anyone who is not yet vaccinated, it is very important to get tested regularly. If you have symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, get tested—even if you are vaccinated. While the risk is fairly low, it is possible to get infected if you are vaccinated. Testing helps limit the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and keeps our students, staff, families, and community safe.
 
WHY: People in West Sacramento continue to test positive, most often with one of the highly contagious COVID-19 variants. The implementation of PCR testing adds another layer of early intervention and prevention to keep our staff, students, and the community healthy. Testing is quick, painless, and free, and it’s available at school sites throughout our district on a rotating basis.  
 
WHO: All residents of West Sacramento. Testing is walk-in only, no appointment needed.
 
WHEN & WHERE: Every Friday, beginning August 13^th, 2021.
 
Friday, August 13^th, 2021, from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
WUSD District Office Multipurpose Room (Enter through double doors on Westacre)
930 Westacre Road, West Sacramento
 
HOW: To register, follow these steps:

• Step 1:  Go to http://healthydavistogether.org/testing/. 
• Step 2:  Click on "REGISTER"
• Step 3: Enter the correct "AGENCY CODE" when asked
  • Staff and Faculty will use agency code: WASHINGTON
  • Families, parents, and all community members will use agency code: davis
• Step 4: Fill out the "ONLINE REGISTRATION" form; Make sure to check the box at the bottom of the page to agree to the terms and then click submit to complete your registration.
• Step 5: After your account has been created and you are logged into your profile, you should see a menu on the left-hand side.
  • Click on “Dependents” on the left menu.
  • Click “Add a New Dependent.”
  • Fill out minor’s information (Leave email and phone blank unless you want to input your child’s information).
  • Click “I agree” and submit.  This will create your student’s profile.
  • Once you see your student’s name, click ‘Launch.”
  • Click on “Medical Clearances” on the left.
  • Click on the green “Update” box.
  • Complete the HYT waiver and submit.
